Product DescriptionWelcome to this course that explores the Christian faith through Luke’s Gospel alongside the narrative of The Flight of the Bumblebee. The reflections were written for individuals or small Bible study groups who would like to explore the relationship between spirituality and mental illness.
Luke’s Gospel was likely to have been written between 80-110AD and is generally regarded as the gospel for Greek speakers except that it’s addressed to one person, Theophilus.
The Bible also says that ‘God is love’ and Theopholis means ‘Lover of God’. Perhaps the gospel is best understood as an address to anyone who is a lover of God from the God of love. One thing is certain, the Gospel of Luke is a book that’s full of encouragement!
If you are using the reflections in a Bible study group, please advise group members to read a chapter of the narrative and note their own thoughts before each Bible study meeting.
There are 10 chapters and after each chapter you will find:
•A conversation starter that reflects on the narrative
•A short Bible passage from Luke’s Gospel
•A time of prayer based on the kind words from Mother Theresa
